Pilot Site Opportunity: Continuing Care Communicable Disease Emergency Response Guide
Jul 25, 2024 AnnouncementsAlberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking sites to pilot the Continuing Care Communicable Disease Emergency Response Guide, Roles and Responsibilities Checklist, and Implementation Toolkit.
Specifically, they are looking for 2 populations:
- Sites that have no pandemic plan and are seeking guidance on how to develop their plan;
- Sites that do have one but are looking to confirm it is up to date and meets the minimum requirements set forth by the guide.
The AHS team would work directly with each site’s staff to answer questions, facilitate implementation, and pilot simulation exercises.
Operators/managers should review and disseminate all information, updates, and pilot requests to team members involved in communicable disease emergency disaster management.
