The Alberta Continuing Care Association (ACCA) is a non-profit, voluntary organization representing the providers of continuing care services in Alberta. We provide a unified voice for our members, a unique alliance of:
- owners and operators of home care and support services, supportive living and long term care;
- private and non-profit sector providers; and
- providers of quality products and services that support the continuing care sector.
With a rich history dating back to 1981, the ACCA strives to advance excellence and innovation in Alberta's continuing care system. We communicate the issues and ideas of our members as we meet with key decision makers and stakeholders. We share knowledge and best practices in collaboration with other organizations in Alberta and beyond. We promote and support our members and proactively address issues that impact you. Most importantly, we live by our values and work tirelessly to ensure quality of care and quality of life for all Albertans.
Our Members provide care and services for over 13,000 long term care (LTC) and designated supportive living (DSL) individuals and over 5.7 million hours of Home Care to Albertans.
