Description - Father Lacombe Care Centre is the oldest non-profit long term care centre for seniors in Alberta. The Centre is owned by the Sisters of Charity of Providence of Western Canada and is Calgary's only Catholic faith-based facility open to individuals of all faiths. This unique Care Centre celebrates its dedicated staff and their commitment to the residents and clients that have been entrusted in our care. The Care Centre is located on the edge of beautiful Fish Creek Provincial Park just behind St. Mary's University College on Bannister Road. |

Shepherd's Care Foundation
Description - Since 1970, the Shepherd's Care Foundation has provided Christian care for low- to moderate-income seniors with an age-in-place environment. Shepherd's Care owns or operates nine sites in the Edmonton and Barrhead region, serving over 1300 residents in these buildings. With a focus on building friendly relationships in a strong community, they ensure that each resident has access to the support he or she needs, whether in a full care facility or an independent living community.
