Assisting with Medication Delivery (ASMD)

As Health Care Aides (HCAs) are key in providing clients with quality care, the expanding role of the HCA now includes assisting with medication delivery.  Additional skills and knowledge are needed to ensure medication safety.  NorQuest college has responded to this need by offering ASMD.  HCAs will be prepared to safely and effectively assist with medications under the supervision of a health care professional.  This course will provide participants with the confidence needed to respond and succees in their expanding roles as HCAs
